What does Bangle Size mean?

Indian Bangle Size is indicative of its inner diameter in inches. Inches in this case are divided into 16 sub-sections. The first number of the Bangle size indicates the number of full-inches while the second number indicates the number of sub-sections in an inch.

For example, if your bangle size is 2-8 (pronounced two-eight), it’s inner diameter is actually 2 inches + 8/16 inches i.e. 2.5 inches. To map your bangle size and its diameter or circumference, please refer to the Bangle Size Chart given above.

How can I measure my Bangle Size using my existing fitting Bangle?
