There is a subtle difference between "100% cotton" and "pure cotton," even though the terms are often used interchangeably.
- 100% Cotton: This label means the fabric is made entirely from cotton fibers and no synthetic fibers are blended in. However, the cotton could be chemically treated or processed to modify its texture, durability or look.
- Pure Cotton: This term implies that the fabric is fully cotton and also suggests that it has gone through minimal processing. Due to this, the fabric has retained its natural texture, softness, and breathability. Pure cotton might lean more toward raw or organic cotton with fewer chemicals or treatments.
